20km 5 Day Challenge

Trust you all well. Apologies for the short notice. Just so much has been happening within the club the last month. Please indicate if you would like to be included on the clubs WhatsApp group. Try keep it sport related, training advise, etc.

We excited to announce a 20km a day running challenge to be run over 5 days, starting 12 December 2015 to 16 December 2016.

The 5 days is advised for the more experienced runner, having run a complete year and with no injury the last 3 months. However, you can participate without being pressured to do all 5 days. Please RSVP the days you intend to run. We will a support vehicle with drinks on days that we have a big turnout. This is purely a training run to help you build a fitness base and test your tolerance to endurance running. We will stay in groups to accommodate all levels of fitness and speed. We want to encourage the stronger faster runners, after opening a gap, to run back to the slowest person, to encourage and support and then continue ahead. Lets enjoy the run and have fun, too!!!

Routes will be confirmed in another day or two.

If you have a mountain bike and want something to do, come cruise along and support the runners.
